Justin Azevedo (Law Student)

Professional Background

Born and raised in Calgary and the surrounding area, Justin graduated from the University of Calgary in 2017 with two bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Law and Society. He joined Litco Law – then known as Litco Law – soon after, starting in the Administrative Services department in September 2018. He became Administrative Services Lead in August 2019 and held that position until September 2020, when he commenced studies at the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law. Justin has been working in various roles at Litco since then, including as a Summer Law Student in 2022, and currently as a Student-at-Law. Justin graduated from USask in June 2023, earning his Juris Doctor degree with Distinction and as the winner of the 2023 Law Foundation of Saskatchewan Harry Dahlem Prize in International Law.

Justin is passionate about the impact that Litco makes on its community and advocates for fairness at every step of a client’s file. On that note, he has been an active member of Litco Cares since its inception in 2020. He believes access to justice is a significant issue for most Canadians and he endeavors to remove any barrier he can – both now and in his future practice.
