Professional Background

Raised in the beautiful ski resort of Kimberley, British Columbia, Barbara ventured to the prairies to complete her post-secondary education. She obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan in 2022. Before attending law school, Barbara completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, with Distinction, at the University of Calgary.

During law school, Barbara contributed to her campus community as the third-year class representative with the University of Saskatchewan Law Students’ Association. Fusing her passion for English with her legal education, Barbara sat on the Editorial Board for the Saskatchewan Law Review, working as a Summer Managing Editor in-between semesters. She further applied her writing skills to foster the student community as Managing Editor for the Caveat Lector, the College of Law student newspaper.

Barbara joined Litco Law as a Student-at-Law in 2022. She is excited to continue developing her legal skills, particularly in working closely with clients. Embracing the Core Value of Empathy, Barbara understands that compassion is necessary for providing effective legal solutions.

Personal Snapshot

True to her English major roots, Barbara is a voracious reader, with a particular penchant for memoirs and literary fiction. She is also a self-described fitness class junkie – jumping at the chance to try the latest yoga studio or the newest workout trend. Barbara also takes any opportunity to return to the mountains for skiing, hiking, or relaxing at a nearby lake.
