Born and raised in Calgary, Caitlin recently completed her studies at the University of Calgary, earning a degree in Political Science with a minor in Law and Society. With over 15 years of experience in competitive speed skating, Caitlin found fulfillment in both her athletic pursuits and her role as a speed skating coach. Outside of her academic and athletic pursuits, she enjoys road biking, hiking, and immersing herself in the pages of a good book. She wholeheartedly embraces our Core Value Ask Why, prioritizing continuous learning and personal growth.

Sarah Calder

Administrative Support

Sarah was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, where she graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She recently moved back from the United Kingdom after completing her Bachelor of Laws degree (Honours) (LLB) at City University of London in 2024. Sarah is eager to qualify as a lawyer in the coming years and is excited to begin applying the knowledge she has gained from obtaining her law degree. In her free time, Sarah enjoys exploring new cafes and bookshops and loves to check out new markets and events within the community! She also enjoys staying active, has recently started bouldering, and is excited to explore climbing gyms in Calgary. Sarah embraces our Core Value of “Empathy,” working primarily in social sectors with vulnerable groups and populations. She always ensures that her colleagues and clients are met with compassion and understanding.

Karolina Balint

Originally from Baia Mare, Romania, Karolina moved to Edmonton when she was five. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in French Language and Literature from the University of Alberta. Karolina brings a diverse professional background that spans hospitality, mental health, and the tech industry. She has a natural talent for event planning and takes pride in crafting meaningful, personalized experiences for every guest. Outside of work, Karolina enjoys hiking, camping, and staying active in the outdoors. She’s also an avid baker who loves experimenting with new recipes and techniques. A true embodiment of our core value Ask Why, Karolina is driven by curiosity, continuous learning, and a passion for innovation.

Liz is a born and raised Calgarian. Before joining Litco Law as the Administrative Services Team Lead in 2022, she spent 14 years working for the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta as a leader in customer service and re-employment services. Liz is an avid world traveler (23 countries and counting!) and spends her free time in the circus world performing flying trapeze and aerial silks. Liz is also a lifelong Calgary Flames fan. Liz embraces the core value of ‘Ask Why’ through her focus on consistent improvement – she’s always looking for ways to improve the experience for clients.

Christina was born in Calgary. She is a graduate of Mount Royal University, completing a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing. Christina is proud to have been a dance instructor and choreographer for 10 years and has gained experience in fields including fitness and automotive. She is passionate about music and loves traveling, working out, and watching football. Christina strives to embody our core value of Own It by being someone her clients and team members can depend on.

Nicole moved from coast-to-coast as a child, before eventually attending high school in a small farm town on the Alberta/Saskatchewan border. Shortly following her graduation, Nicole packed up and moved to Calgary to pursue a combined BA in Political Science and Law and Society. When she isn’t working or getting caught up in her classes, you can find Nicole in one of two places: nose deep in a book, or outside. Nicole lives our core value Kindness by ensuring that every interaction she has is a notably positive one, as the even the shortest conversations can have a lasting impact.

Allison was born in Calgary, Alberta, and raised on a ranch in the Foothills County of Alberta. In 2022, Allison graduated from SAIT with a Legal Assistant Diploma. In her free time she enjoys weight lifting, horseback riding, hiking and taking her dog to the river in the summertime. One day she hopes to be able to visit Greece and Peru. Allison embraces our core values of empathy and kindness as she has a strong belief that everyone’s voice deserves to be heard and matters. Allison strives to create an environment where everyone feels encouraged and supported to voice their thoughts, feelings, and concerns so together we can conquer any difficulties that may arise.

Nicole was born and raised in Calgary but spent a couple of years in Whistler, B.C., before starting college. She completed a professional diploma in Human Services and spent the last 5 years supporting clients with special needs. She enjoys movies, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She hopes to expand her list of countries visited over the next few years with her husband and daughter. Nicole embraces our core value of Empathy and Kindness by ensuring that every interaction she has with someone makes them feel appreciated, heard, and safe. She’s always looking for ways to make a person’s day brighter.

Angela Aviles

Client Experience Coordinator

Angela grew up in British Columbia and moved to Calgary to attend Ambrose University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioural Science with a minor in Christian Studies. Following graduation, she worked at a local non-profit seniors recreation centre as their office manager and program coordinator for a number of years. Angela loves to bake and her husband loves to cook, so hosting friends is a great joy for them. Angela loves the outdoors and often hikes in the beautiful Rocky Mountains – however, she deeply misses swimming in BC’s warm lakes! Angela embraces our Core Values of Empathy and Kindness by striving to make all those around her feel seen and heard. She seeks to understand both clients and the colleagues she works alongside.

Andrea Seva

Administrative Support

Andrea Seva holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from the University of Calgary and is currently completing her Legal Assistant Diploma at Bow Valley College. During her academic career, Andrea devoted her time giving back to the community by volunteering at the Alberta’s Children Hospital and working in a child psychology clinic. For self-care, Andrea enjoys cycling and outdoor activities such as horseback riding and swimming. Likewise, anything that involves animals is also right up her alley! She loves to bake sweet treats, specifically lemon bars for her loved ones and snuggle up with a good book from time to time. Andrea embraces our Core Values of Kindness and Asking Why by taking the time to listen and ask follow-up questions to ensure she provides the very best service to clients.
