Breeya Engel, who joined the Litco Law team in 2012, has a strong desire to help others which drives her passion to advocate for those who need it most. She was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and studied Law at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. While attending law school, Breeya received the prestigious President’s Scholarship in Law, recognizing superior academic achievement. She began her career at Litco Law in 2011 as an articling student and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2012. Breeya joined Litco Law following her call to the Bar and has been with the firm for over a decade.

Since joining Litco Law, Breeya has represented over 2,000 clients, providing insightful legal counsel to ensure they get the justice they deserve. She mainly practices civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury claims. She provides guidance to people injured in accidents and navigates their claims through the legal process. Breeya is skilled at complex negotiations and advocating for her clients to secure them a successful and rewarding settlement.

Breeya is passionate about health and wellness and teaches fitness classes in her spare time. She loves running, barre, HITT and strength workouts. Breeya is presently the Legal Director for WEDO Canada, a charity dedicated to educating, supporting, and empowering women entrepreneurs. She also dedicates her time to several local charity organizations, including animal rescue and helping children in need. Breeya has two young children of her own and a dog named Lola, all of whom she enjoys spending her downtime with.
