Kate first joined Litco Law in 2017 as a Case Manager and later moved into our Client Solutions Lead role in 2021. She worked in insurance for over 10 years prior to coming to our firm. Kate enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, going to barre class, reading and enjoying a sunny patio in the summer. She demonstrates kindness by really listening to and caring about our clients as well as taking the time to explain the claims process thoroughly.

Rachelle Steel
Client Solutions Coach
Rachelle joined Litco Law in 2019 as a Case Manager. Prior to coming to the firm, she worked for over 10 years at 2 of the biggest, Canadian Based insurance companies. Her areas of expertise were auto claims and bodily injury claims. Rachelle obtained her CIP designation in 2013 and served on the Insurance Institute Board for a year. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, reading, playing music, and watching true life crime documentaries. Rachelle embraces our Core Value of Empathy, which is shown in her ability to put herself in her client’s shoes. She gets excited about working to go the extra mile to ensure her client’s have the best possible experience during one of the most difficult and challenging times in their life.

Astrid Gardner

Astrid was born and raised in England before moving to Germany with her husband and young son in 2007. After five years in Germany with the British Army, and the birth of their second child, Astrid spent more time in the UK before moving to Calgary in 2014. Astrid is very creative and loves coming up with new ideas for craft projects. She also enjoys being outdoors, exploring the mountains and hiking with her family. Aurelio Gualtieri grew up in the streets of Montreal but has called Calgary his home for the last 23 years. Aurelio is the father of two and enjoys spending his time hiking, fixing things and cooking incredible meals for his family and friends. Always looking for an opportunity to learn something new, Aurelio lives our core value of Ask Why and always challenges himself by taking the proverbial “jump” to fully immerse himself in something he has never experienced before. Aurelio is Tri-Lingual (French, Italian and English) and also dabbles with Spanish. Aurelio is a culture fanatic and is always looking to learn something new about places, traditions, and food.

Marie-Lynn Grigg

Marie-Lynn was born and raised in the rural area surrounding Calgary, gaining valuable public relations and marketing experience in the service sector before relocating to Calgary in pursuit of a post secondary degree in business administration. Marie-Lynn is an avid reader, contemporary dancer, and traveler with ambitions to complete a tour of Europe in coming years. She is also a mediocre but very enthusiastic cook and baker of health conscious treats in her spare time. Alyssa was born is Selkirk, Manitoba and recently relocated to Calgary after spending the last few years living in and exploring Australia and New Zealand. She is passionate about traveling and is always looking to plan her next big adventure. In her spare time she can be found at the gym, participating in various recreational sports, reading and trying out new and exciting restaurants around Calgary. April Sullivan
Client Solutions Specialist
April moved to Calgary from Ontario and joined the Litco team in August of 2021. At the time of joining the Litco team, she had recently graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Sociology. During her time at university, she particularly enjoyed learning about how the legal system interacts with society. Her previous work experience stems from the retail sector and telecommunications where she uncovered her passion for extending help to others. In her spare time, April enjoys reading, meditating, watching crime documentaries, and exploring the city of Calgary as a new resident! Ranzell Ortega

Ranzell was born and raised in Lacombe, AB. She completed a degree at the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in French Language and Literature. In addition to her degree, she received a certificate in Applied Social Science Research. Ranzell loves to travel and recently spent a year living in Montréal before coming back to Edmonton. Tyson was born and raised in Calgary, working around the city in customer relations. He is a recent graduate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and hopes to continue his education in law. Tyson is an avid camper, and enjoys being outdoors, especially in the rocky mountains. In the colder months he enjoys reading, listening to true crime podcasts, trying and eating at new restaurants around the city, and hopes to do more travelling in the future. Shannon was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a minor in Criminology from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. Since her return to Edmonton, this combination has led her toward experiences in the non-profit, arts, film, and legal industries. Shannon continues to fuel her passion for dance as a dance instructor and enjoys creating new projects, spending time with friends and family, running, trying out new restaurants and recipes, and travelling. Rees Giacchetta

Rees grew up out of Priddis Alberta, just south of Calgary. He moved to Wolfville Nova Scotia to obtain his Bachelor's degree in business administration from Acadia University. Rees comes from a sports background working in lacrosse, baseball, and ice hockey. He is currently a video coach with Calgary Hitmen in his off time. Away from work and hockey, Rees loves to spend as much of his summer in the Shuswap surfing.
