Vanessa joined the Litco Business & Technology Services team in November 2019. Originally from Victoria, BC, she and her family reside in Calgary with their fluffy labradoodle, Stanley. Vanessa brings 15 years of project management experience in the Information Technology sector. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Science as well as her PMP designation. Vanessa is a champion of our core value Own it. She is eager to take on challenges, find ways to work more efficiently, and takes pride in being accountable to the team. When away from work, Vanessa loves spending time doing anything outdoors, travelling and camping with her family.

Alex Cameron

Software Development Coach

Alex, born and raised in the United Kingdom, moved to Calgary and joined the Litco Law Business & Technology Services team in November 2018. Bringing with him 10 years of experience in business systems development and support, Alex was able to implement immediate changes into the core case management system to enable business wide efficiencies. Alex Owns It for the Litco team by coming up with creative solutions for problems they didn’t know they had. Outside of the office, Alex enjoys spending time with family and exploring their new life here in Calgary.

Rama Gilaka

Data Engineer

Rama, born and raised in India, moved to Calgary 12 years ago, living with her husband, young kid and a Bichon-Yorkie dog. She graduated in Engineering from S.V. University, India, with a specialization in Electronics and Telecommunications. She is a Microsoft certified professional with over 10 years of experience in the IT Industry. Cameron Chenier

Product Owner & Web Coach

Cameron moved to Calgary after being born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. His passion for technology led him to pursue a Computer Science degree from the University of Calgary. He also holds a PMP designation. Cameron brings over 15 years of software development and technical project management to the team. He strives to bring together technology and people every day. While not working on building and implementing new technologies he can be found spending time with his wife and young daughter. You’ll also find him biking, swimming and running as he trains for triathlons. As someone that continually tries new things and understands successes come with some setbacks, he believes highly in our Don’t Blame core value.

Lidiya was born in Ukraine and moved to Calgary when she was six years old. She graduated from Mount Royal University with a degree in Computer Information Systems. Karsten Thacker

Karsten grew up in Peace River, AB before moving to Calgary to study at the University of Calgary where he attained a B.Sc. with a major in Geology. After a career in Oil & Gas and Mining he decided to make a transition into technology which was something that has always interested him. After completing a Software Development program at Bow Valley College, he started at Litco in September 2020. In his free time, he enjoys staying physically active and spending time with his dog, Prim. Karsten identifies with the core value “Ask Why” asking the right questions on how he can use his technical skills to improve overall efficiencies for the company.

Braedon was born in Calgary, Alberta. Before completing a degree in Computer Information Systems, Braedon worked in several customer service roles. He enjoys travelling and learning new things, and stays active by hiking, rock climbing, working out, and playing sports. Joe Martin-Knoll

Joe was born and raised in Calgary, AB. He attained a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Calgary in 2014. After a career in Hazardous Materials Services, he began pursuing self-directed studies in computer science and programming in hope of changing careers. This came to fruition in October 2021, when he joined the Litco team. In his free time, Joe enjoys playing chess and lacrosse, taking weekend trips to the mountains, cooking, brewing beer, and creating cocktail recipes. Joe Owns It by taking initiative to solve problems, making life less stressful for both colleagues & clients.

Diego Weidle Rost

Full Stack Web Developer

Diego was born in the very south of Brazil and moved to Canada on Christmas day in 2016. Moving from 40 degrees celsius to -30 was quite the change! He joined Litco in October 2021 after graduating from SAIT with a Software Development diploma. He brings 9 years of experience in the IT field, repairing computers and mobile devices. On his free time, he likes to play video games, watch TV shows and movies with his wife, and spending time outdoors by visiting the mountains, walking in parks or kayaking. Diego shares the core values of Empathy and Kindness with Litco. Always willing to take a moment to listen and help with everything possible.

Minh Hoang

IT Analyst

Minh was born in Vietnam before moving to Saskatoon, Canada, in 2012, where he got his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. With a passion for the great outdoors and love of the beautiful sights Alberta has to offer, Minh moved to Edmonton at the beginning of 2023. In his free time, Minh enjoys exploring the mountains with his wife, tinkering with his car, and playing guitar. Kira Plettl

IT Analyst

Kira was born and raised in Calgary before moving to Glasgow, Scotland, to pursue a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering. After moving back to Calgary, and a short career in medical imaging research, Kira joined Litco as a Deskside Support Analyst in April 2022. During her free time, Kira enjoys practicing aerial silks, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with her cat, Penny. She identifies most with the core value of Kindness, offering help in any way she can and choosing to see the best in people.
