Professional Background


Cole obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2013 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2014. Prior to attending law school, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with Distinction, in 2009 from the University of Calgary.

Cole maintains a practice in a variety of employment law matters, including wrongful dismissal, human rights, contractual arguments, occupational health and safety matters, benefit disputes, and privacy issues. He has represented clients before all levels of court in Alberta, as well as the Federal Court and various administrative tribunals, including the Alberta Human Rights Commission and Canada Labour Code adjudications.

Cole began his career with Litco Law in 2023. As a lawyer with the firm, Cole continues to practice and develop his expertise in civil litigation, primarily focusing on employment matters, as well as arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Cole embraces the Core Value of Don’t Blame by taking responsibility for his actions and focusing on developing solutions, leading to better decision-making and client satisfaction.
