Professional Background
Taran obtained her LLB from City University London. Prior to attending law school, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Calgary, and a Forensic Studies Certificate from Mount Royal University.
Taran has been an active volunteer with victims of domestic violence both in Calgary and London, volunteering with Sagesse for a number of years in Calgary, and the National Centre for Domestic Violence while attending law school. Taran currently sits on the Young Women Lawyers Committee of the Association of Women Lawyers. Taran was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2018 and joined the firm as an Associate Lawyer in 2019.
Personal Snapshot
Taran enjoys kickboxing, painting, and unwinding with yoga and mediation. While attending law school in London, Taran appreciated the opportunity to travel around Europe, and hopes to continue exploring the world in the future.
