Scholarship with SAIT

Jun 16, 2014

litwiniukWe are very pleased to announce that, in partnership with the SAIT School of Business Legal Assistant Program, we have established a cash scholarship award in the name of the firm.
The Litco Law Community and Culture Award is an annual award of $1000, available to second-year students in SAIT’s Legal Assistant Program. To be eligible for the award, students must perform well academically, display teamwork and a positive attitude, understand client service, be involved in the community, and display a desire to join a small firm. It is our hope that this award will encourage and reward the kind of person and values that we love having at our firm.
SAIT is an innovative post-secondary institution with a skill-focused approach to learning that produces graduates who fit well with the needs of business and industry. As part of its commitment to serving the legal industry, the Legal Assistant Program has a Program Advisory Committee (PAC) made up of industry leaders including lawyers and administrative staff. The purpose of the PAC is to advise on curriculum to ensure that graduates of the program have the skills and knowledge that law firms are looking for. For the coming academic year, Todd Litwiniuk has been asked to sit on the PAC, and he has accepted the invitation and committed to volunteering his time and knowledge.
This opportunity would not have been possible without the efforts of SAIT team members Karyn Kraemer, Academic Chair of the Legal Assistant Program, and Kerrie Marin, Development Officer. We are truly excited about our partnership with SAIT, and are looking forward to giving back to our community through our work together.
Litco Law’s commitment to community is sustained through investments in people, in relationships, and the promise to make a difference in people’s lives.
