At Litwiniuk & Company, we believe great work deserves recognition. To celebrate the achievements of the many talented and dedicated people at our firm, we created the Litwiniuk & Company Spotlight. This is the first of many posts that shine a spotlight on an exceptional member of our team. Get ready for an inside look at the folks who make Litwiniuk & Company such a great place to work!
Jessica CookOur very first spotlight is on Jessica Cook, Legal Assistant extraordinaire! Jessica started her journey with Litwiniuk & Company in the spring of 2016, initially as a practicum student for her SAIT Legal Assistant diploma. Her hard work and determination paid off and she was invited to join our team full time. Not long after, Jessica was promoted, and became the Legal Assistant to personal injury lawyer Colin McKinnon–a role she rocks daily. Jessica’s great attitude is infectious. Known for her empathy, sense of humour, optimism, and work ethic, she consistently makes Litwiniuk & Company a better place for our team members and personal injury clients alike. To her, every day is a new chance to make a difference. Unafraid to step outside her comfort zone, Jessica recently spoke on our SAIT Legal Assistant Open House panel, where she shared her experiences and knowledge with students from her former program.
Culture ChampionIt’s hard not to get excited about workplace culture with Jessica around. As a Culture Champion, she’s always ready to plan and volunteer her time for Litwiniuk & Company events. Whether she’s speaking on a panel, serving drinks at an open house, organizing tables and food, thinking of new ideas to help motivate the team, greeting visitors to the office, or bargaining with venues to get the best deal, you can bet that when she has anything to do with it, everyone is in for a wonderful time!
The Litwiniuk & Company DifferenceJessica’s favourite part of working at Litwiniuk & Company is the welcoming community that we’ve created. For her, being able to help clients with their personal injury claims every day while surrounded by friendly, passionate people makes work comforting, rewarding, and fun.
