Submission deadline is October 31, 2017 for consideration by a panel of personal injury lawyers. Students can win a $5,000 scholarship and may have their essay published on the Litco Law blog.

Litco Law Personal Injury Law Scholarship

The Litco Law Personal Injury Law Scholarship is an annual scholarship in the amount of $5,000 for the best essay on tort law, as judged by Litco Law lawyers.
Litco Law believes that personal injury lawyers play an important role in the legal system and society in general. Tort laws provide a safeguard against the negligence of individuals and companies, and a method of compensation for victims of negligence. It is arguably one of the most important yet misunderstood areas of law. Misconceptions abound, and prevent discussions about real, substantive reform.
“We want to encourage students to take an interest in tort law, to better understand how it affects society, and to consider a career in personal injury law,” says Director of Business Development and Marketing, Fred Litwiniuk, “That’s why we’re offering this scholarship.”
