Samantha joined Litwiniuk & Company in 2015 as a Student-at-Law after obtaining her Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to attending law school, she graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with distinction.
Samantha was an active volunteer throughout her undergraduate and law degree. While in law school, she volunteered at Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City (CLASSIC), an organization that provides legal advice and information to low-income individuals in Saskatoon. Working with CLASSIC allowed Samantha to gain valuable experience in both family and criminal law. She also enjoyed participating and organizing a number of law school events including the College of Law’s Annual Charity Variety Show, Legal Follies. While home in Calgary for the summer of 2014, Samantha assisted the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre at the University of Calgary to update their legal manuals.
Samantha was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2016 and joined the firm as an Associate Lawyer. As a lawyer, she continues to develop expertise in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution, primarily focusing on personal injury matters.
Samantha enjoys swimming, running and singing with the Cantaré Alumni Choir. She is also passionate about travelling and has spent time in Europe, Asia, North America and Central America. Some highlights from Samantha’s travels include, participating in a study abroad program at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England during her undergraduate degree and spending four weeks teaching English to underprivileged children in Vietnam through the Global Volunteer Network.
