Professional Background

Richie obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2020. Prior to attending law school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts, from the University of Calgary where he majored in Law and Society, as well as a Diploma in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

During law school, Richie volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada as a member of the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project. The project provided brief legal assistance to self-represented litigants in civil matters before the Provincial Court. In this role, he assisted with intake and had the opportunity to learn from volunteer lawyers. Richie also participated in the University of Calgary Business Venture Clinic. Working closely with local entrepreneurs, Richie was able to provide them with information on a range of legal issues as they looked to get their business off the ground.

Richie joined Litco Law as a Student-at-Law in 2020. He exhibits our core value of empathy by listening and understanding the position of our clients in order to provide them with support and exceptional customer service as they proceed through the legal process.
