Professional Background


Kerianne obtained her Juris Doctor, with Distinction, from the University of Saskatchewan in 2020. Prior to attending law school, she completed a Bachelor of Nursing and a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Following the completion of her undergraduate degrees, Kerianne worked for four years as a Registered Nurse in several outpatient clinics at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

During law school Kerianne assisted a professor in conducting research on domestic violence in family law rulings related to child custody. As a third year student, she worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for the first year Legal Research and Writing course. Upon graduating, Kerianne received the John A. Beke Prize in Children and the Law.

Kerianne joined Litco Law in 2020 as a Student-at-Law. She is looking forward to working closely with clients, conducting legal research, and making court appearances. Kerianne embraces our core value of Empathy through her belief that understanding and acknowledging a client’s personal experience is essential in discovering the most appropriate solutions in difficult situations.

Personal Snapshot

In her free time Kerianne enjoys staying active by playing basketball, hiking, snowboarding, and waterskiing. As well, she is passionate about supporting healthy communities and is a Board Member for NSTEP, a non-profit organization delivering healthy living education to Calgary students and their families.
