Youthful Will by Litco Law

Feb 19, 2021

For many young people, writing a Will is a pretty low-key priority. But the reality is that many 20 to 30-somethings are purchasing their first home, getting married, starting businesses, possibly having children, and reaching so many exciting but also expensive milestones. The thing is, these milestones are HUGE. And while most of us know that we probably should have a Will in place at a younger age, quite frankly, it feels like just another expense. How great would it be to be able to do these things without the big bill, while still knowing that there’s a plan for your loved ones, your property, or even your business?

We wanted to bridge this gap and make Wills attainable for younger people who are just starting out. A Will doesn’t have to be a huge added expense. The Youthful WillTM is specifically for anyone under the age of the 30 and allows them to get the security of our one and only Timeless Will TM, for a flat rate fee of $525 (or $750 for you and your partner).

All the changes you need, forever. For Free.

For those of you who don’t know, Litco Law only offers Timeless Wills TM, meaning you get all the changes you need forever – for free. On average, most people change their Will anywhere from 1 – 3 times in their lifetime. Typically, if you needed to make minor changes to your Will, most lawyers would draw up a Codicil, at a cost of $250 – $600 or more, to modify your Will. And in many cases, Wills and Estates lawyers in Alberta will insist on simply creating a new Will for you altogether. This gets very costly.

With the Timeless Will TM you don’t have to worry about paying additional money to a lawyer to update your Will when you purchase that additional lake property, have a new child, or whatever comes your way as life changes and evolves. That’s why we decided to make all our Wills life-proof. Want to learn more about our Timeless WillTM? We’ve written about it more in-depth here.

Whether you’re under 30 and looking for a Will, or know someone who might need one, we’re standing by ready to answer all your questions. Just give us a call or email, and ask us about our Youthful WillTM.
