No Fees, No Costs To Proceed – We Don’t Get Paid Until You Get Paid

If you or a loved one has been in a motor vehicle accident or suffered a personal injury, it won’t cost anything to talk with a lawyer. Call our office at (403) 273-8580 to schedule a convenient time to visit us — or we’ll even come to see you. Use our contact form, or email inquiries@litwiniuk.com and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours to set up a meeting to speak with a lawyer. The initial discussion in our offices will take between 1 and 1 1/2 hours, with a primary objective of gathering as much information as possible about your potential claim, and providing you with a clear explanation of how the process works.

Following the initial meeting, if you decide you’re comfortable that our firm’s combination of skills and experience are right for you, we’ll continue working on your behalf without charging fees while your claim progresses. We’ll also pay all costs that are incurred from the start of the process through to you getting paid – including expert reports and any other expenses that are necessary to reach a settlement, regardless of how long that takes. In some cases we will work with your medical providers to see that you are not charged for their services until such time as we settle or bring your case to judgment. Simply stated, we don’t get paid until you get paid. Our fees will come out of the settlement we reach on your behalf, and all expenses – which can run into the tens of thousands of dollars – will come out of our pocket.

It’s important that you bring as much information as possible to the initial meeting in our offices. At a minimum, we need you to bring government-issued identification – such as a Driver’s Licence, Passport or Birth Certificate – and your Alberta Health Care number. In addition, please gather any other documents or information you have relating to the accident or your injuries. Information you should bring with you includes:

  • A copy of the Police Report or any statements you’ve made to the police
  • Any letters or correspondence you’ve had with your insurance company
  • Receipts for any expenses you’ve paid
  • Information related to the accident (location, time, witnesses, etc.)

We know this can be a stressful time. One of our lawyers will spend as much time as required helping you understand your rights, how the personal claims process works and what to expect. From the moment you walk through the door of our office, our team of experienced lawyers and staff are working for you.
